This dress is made in late medieval and renaissance style, with a laced bodice over a slip dress in a contrasting color, wide sleeves, and a wide apron. A great dress suitable for re-enactment, LARP and Cosplay of medieval and renaissance citizens, landladies, market vendors, etc. Women wore an apron during the day to protect their clothing against dirt during their daily business, like cleaning and cooking. The medieval towns were also not clean, so during a trip to the market the garments had to be protected against dust and other dirtiness. You can lace this dress up at the back. You can also lace the bodice up at the front for a tighter fit.
