The Jörg pants are two-toned pants with slits, made according to historically inspired patterns of the Landsknecht, a fashion style from the late 15th century. It’s not certain where this fashion came from, but historians suggest that landsknechts started cutting their clothing because it was too tight to fight in. Thus, this style emerged along with the famous mercenaries. The Jörg pants are made of robust, high-quality canvas. The loose fit allows for freedom of movement while fighting your opponents. There is a thick inner drawstring at the waist, which is used to tie the pants tightly around the wearer’s body. The waistband is also closed with two brass buttons in antique finish. The lacing along the legs leads to the typical puffy look of Lansquenet fashion.
