The “Haldur” gambeson is a leather gambeson based on a historical model. The upper layer is made of fine sheep leather, it is thickly padded to offer the wearer some protection and as a special feature has detachable sleeves, with which it can easily be converted into a leather tabard. The elaborate diamond quilting underlines the martial character of this unusual armor gambason. “Haldur” is closed on the chest with 4 cast brass buckles. It is particularly suitable for depicting Vikings, warriors, rangers, dwarves and many other combative races and characters.
