Product description
This headwear is based on originals from the 12th century; it became common for married women not to wear their hair down. A combination of veils and tightly tied kerchiefs passed under the chin made up this common headdress. The headband serves on the one hand as adornment; kept simple, it can be individually decorated with embroidery or fabric paints. On the other hand, it keeps the veil or “giver” in shape. The headband has a circumference of approx. 56 cm, but you can vary the size slightly with the amount of scarves worn underneath.
